While selecting the perfect time to visit Kufri, one must keep in mind the reason to visit as well. Naldehra : One in a myriad!
Among the innumerable hamlets of Himachal Pradesh is Naldehra, a town tucked just a little away from Shimla. Near the Mahakali Lake in Naldehra, lies Shaily Peak with one of the most appealing walks on the trail leading you to the top of the peak. The temple of the goddess on Shaily Peak commands the valleys all around with a 360° view of the mountains and of course the Shimla countryside. “Well, I know now. I know a little more how much a simple thing like a snowfall can mean to a person” Sylvia Plath rightly quoted and we agree. So let this winter be a snow-filled one for you.
